Interstate Dealers Denton Wertz of Denton’s Garage in Hollidaysburg, PA and David Martin of Painters RV and Marine in St. George, Utah experienced a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity after completing our Dealer survey in the December 2008 edition of the Current magazine.

The dealers and their wives also had the opportunity to meet and receive autographs from Joe & JD Gibbs, and the Wert's got to watch part of the Nationwide race from the Interstate condo!

Both couples were able to experience the thrill of being in Victory Lane with Kyle Busch & the No.18 M&M/Interstate Batteries team. The Martins were in Victory Lane in Vegas when Kyle Busch won the Sprint Cup race March 1 and the Wertz's were part of Kyle’s Nationwide victory on Saturday. This included joining Kyle’s celebration on the track and being part of photos and featured on TV! Both Denton and David and their wives reported having an outstanding time.

“The whole trip was fantastic,” David said. “I am a huge NASCAR fan so I was six feet off the ground the whole time. I was just in awe seeing the pits, car hauler, and being three feet away from the cars!”

Denton said he was very impressed with the first class treatment they received over the course of the weekend,” The hospitality by the Interstate team as well as the thrill of seeing the track was the best part of the trip,” he said. “It was an awesome once-in-a-lifetime experience I will be talking about for a long time.”
