Replacing AA Batteries

If batteries need replacement, the analyzer will display the message WARNING INTERNAL BATTERIES LOW. Change the batteries as soon as possible.

  • Remove the screw to the battery compartment using a small Phillips screwdriver.
  • To remove the cover, slide it forward to free the side and bottom latches. Then, lift it at the slot in the housing. Note: You must first slide the door forward, or the latches will break.
  • Insert six AA batteries (alkaline recommended; rechargeable not recommended). Refer to the diagram on the bottom of the battery compartment for correct polarity.
  • Insert the cover onto the housing and tighten the screw.
Verify that the date and time are still correct. Refer to "Clock (Adjust)" in the "Initial Setup" section.
